H-Block Contest!

Yep, it's a try based off the manga (formerly animation, still in the works...just not yet) me and are going to be making. Any case, should you accept...Here is what you need to do.

All of the H-block characters (and two OCs).

Note: H-block is a location in the show Bo-bobo bo bo-bobo. Yes, this is a giant fanfiction series, but it's been going on...for a while now. We'll release some stuff soon, as a feeler, let us know what you think!

Menma - A VERY minor character in the show, a major character in our series. Formerly the guardian of a course, she's now the ultra possessive ramen queen of H-block. She loves ramen, enough to bathe in it. [link] [link]

Ramune/Lemon Fizz - In the show, she was Kitty-Poo's assistant, which in turn, the two of them were a bit of a parody of Zarbon and Frieza. In H-block, she's a funloving swordfighter, who's pretty shameless, and a bit of a perv. She's also probably the most powerful character there. [link] [link]

Mytel: The leader of H-block in the anime, now the vice leader. He has the power to turn people to stone, but doesn't do a lot of fighting in the block. A bit of a right hand man to the leader...hehe. [link] [link] [link]

Ruby: An adorable girl, who's probably the only female in the anime who can use Hajike (read Wiggin' out). In H-block, she's a bit like Shin-chan, except she really likes to play and has tea parties a lot. Protip. Don't drink her tea. [link] [link] [link]

Adherente (Nunchuk Nick in US, Nenchaku in Japan): A guy who really likes tape. In the anime, he was another course, like Menma. In H-block, he bakes pies...to throw at people. Also...hawt. We chose to use Adherente (from the Spanish dub) because it fits him better (He doesn't use nunchuks, Denbo does ). [link] [link] (note: I used fanart, because I feel it defines him better. Megafan: Formerly one of the Terrible Triplets (Read: Hell Bros in Japan), he has REALLY bad breath, and fights with swords...In H-block, he was kidnapped by Ms. Sweet Nami when um...she was lonely for 3 weeks. [link] [link]

Bubble-uba: Yep! He fights with bubbles. He's a block leader from a hundred years ago, and was also kidnapped...when someone was feeling lonely. [link] [link]

Infinite Kick: Hes one of the ultimate assasins from Over's castle, likes to play soccer, and has the most misplaced voice in the entire American anime. In H-block, he's a clueless shota...who doesn't know very much. [link]

Hibi - Was one of Dengakuman's friends, who stabbed him in the back at the end. For some reason, in the anime, she was about to go to the bathroom...and met Softon. Don't ask me why . In H-block, she doesn't digest ramen too well...But loves it! [link] [link]

Ko - The brother of the leader! Also one of the OCs here, he's a brother and a friend...Along with other stuff I can't mention here . [link]

Sweet Nami - The leader, and 's main OC since 2006. Formerly a member of Baroque Works, she's now the leader of a block of hair hunters...who don't do very much hair hunting. [link]

Anyways...Your job is to draw 6 of them, 3 male and 3 female. You can draw them however you want, and...you can have them all in one picture or several . Either one's ok. Try to make it look sort of like a movie poster/advertisement (No we won't use it as such, if we do, you can sue! It's all in fun...)

Now, as this is a big contest, you can try for big prizes, which are as follows.

1st place: Gets a year's subscription to DA and a Wacom© Tablet.
2nd Place: Gets a set of markers or paints, your choice, along with a year's subscription to DA.
3rd place: Gets a year's subscription to DA.

If you'd like something else point it out to me...

RULES

1. NO TRACING!
2. All entries need to be in around October 2008. The final date on October is tenuous, mainly because I had so many late entries last year...but yes, around October. If you need more time, PM me.
3. There will be NO favortism here, I judge more on originality, and theme more then I do on other things (see last year's fleet of 873092830928093 cute Flandres).
4. For the prizes, what I'm going to do is order them and as long as you live in the US, or Europe, I can do it. However, I do need an address to ship them to...If you want to opt out, or possibly have me wire you the money or something, let me know.
5. I can not stress this enough! If I know you, you're not going to automatically win. I've seen too many contests around here, where the contest's owner's friends won .

Requests and Trades: Always open! Just keep in mind that I only write, make some icons and do some pixel art (IE, sprites).
Commissions: What? Are you nuts? I'll never ask you for money for something I make for you...

One last thing! ANYTHING of mine you like, such as a name, character, sprite, whatever, take and do what you will.^^ Just be courteous enough to tell me, and not use it behind my back.

Somehow, I know this was supposed to be a stamp about racism...Which I really feel is outdated. Instead...I'd rather look at it as a sign that we should consider the sexes equal and cool it with ZOMG MEN (WOMEN) ARE BETTER crap.
