But look at who the majority of Twitards are; they're tweens/teenagers who haven't really been exposed to that level of fluffy romance, they don't notice the extremities of the relationship and how abusive it is. Vampires are also a sexualised figure, so labeling her fairies (There's no other term better) as vampires and giving them a blood fetish helped to make it popular. It's kind of sad really.
That's fine, it pisses me right the hell off too. :3

And you've got a point....It's also that "Bella Swan" (that's a screamer of a name, isn't it?) is also a piss poor example of a female character. I guess it falls in line with Ed-o being creepy and abusive and all...but damn.
It just hurts my head to see all these people standing up to the people who can see what kind of crap this really is.
